League of Mexican American Women

The League of Mexican American Women is a community-based organization that was established in 1973 by a group of women who were previously involved in the Fresno community’s social and political programs.

The League of Mexican American Women supports opportunities that will promote education, cultural identity, and leadership development.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW BEING ACCEPTED

The League of Mexican American Women (LMAW) is now accepting scholarship applications. Our scholarship is for Fresno County students and the fund is made possible by the generous support of community donors and proceeds from the Annual Fiesta Navideña, the Betty and Armando Rodriguez Scholarship Fund from the CVCF, and other local sponsors.
